Elimbah

The Moreton Mountain Muster

Located north of Caboolture and south of Beerburrum, Elimbah is the host of the first round of the Queensland Road Team Series for 2018. 

With stunning landscapes and a population of 3,700 people, Elimbah exudes a warm and friendly country feel. 

The weekend of racing will consist of a Road Race on Saturday. The Elite Men will climb to the finish line with a hill finish while the Master’s Men and Women have a flat finish. Sunday sees athletes racing against the clock in Team Time Trials. 

Make a weekend of it! 

There’s plenty to do and see in Elimbah. You can hike your way through the gorgeous Glasshouse Mountains, visit the pristine Pumicestone National Park, and explore the beautiful Beerburrum West State Forrest.

Women’s 84 km Road Race: 

The Women’s Road Race is over 84 km’s starting and finishing in Elimbah. The Women will complete three laps of the 28km circuit. Over rolling hills, athletes will accumulate a total elevation of 546m over the 84km race. The Road Race finishes in Elimbah, with a flat stretch welcoming home the female athletes.

Women's Road Race

Elite Men’s 81km Road Race: 

The Elite Men’s Road Race is over 81 km’s and climbing a total of 774m. The race starts in Elimbah and completes two laps of the 28km circuit before climbing up Mount Mee. The finish line is on top of the climb, with athletes racing over 13.5% pinches.

Master’s Men 84 km Road Race: 

The Master’s Men Road Race is over 84 km’s starting and finishing in Elimbah. The Master’s Men will complete three laps of the 28km circuit. Over rolling hills, athletes will accumulate a total elevation of 546m over the 84km race. The Road Race finishes in Elimbah, with a flat stretch welcoming home the Master athletes.

Team Time Trial

Elite Men, Women and Master’s Men Team Time Trial: 

The Elite Men, Women and Master’s Men Team Time Trial follow the same 60km course. Riders will complete two laps of the 30km circuit. The Team Time Trial starts and finishes in the town of Elimbah, with only 395m’s of climbing it is expected to be a fast Team Time Trial course.
